I am a dog person.
Invite me to a party, and I'll probably spend more time talking with your dogs than your guests. Don't take it personally. I love people and am pretty extroverted. I'm even a motivational speaker.
But, in my former corporate career, I met more sharks than dogs. Back then, conversations with dogs were a welcomed reprieve. And, I can tell you that spending time with sharks makes you more likely to turn into one or get bit.
Fortunately for me, neither happened. I swam away from the sharks and came ashore (happily) in Lewes, Delaware, with my family in 2013. The Delaware Beaches offer the best in people, dogs, and scenery. I love it here!
I would not have believed you if you told me that my love for dogs, the beach, and business would mesh into Delaware Beach Dog. My clients are four-legged friends who are always happy to see me. I would be wagging right back at them if I had a tail. I am in dog heaven.
The business started in 2021 as an alternative to dog kennels. It is an early stage, but we are very grateful for the roughly fifty dog families we serve in Lewes, Rehoboth, and Milton. We are growing and in the process of hiring pet and house sitters.
Getting to know a dog and their family is time well spent. Please feel free to schedule a meet and greet with me at your earliest convenience.
